Burns Night Bagpiper
Burns Night is a time to enjoy Scottish traditions and celebrate the renowned poet Robert Burns with a classic combination of haggis, neeps, tatties and sometimes a warming dram. The night is often accompanied by entertaining recitals of some of Robert Burns famous work. A typical Burns Night event looks something like this.

Andy Matthews - The Shropshire Bagpiper is a Burns Night Piper available for hire across Cheshire, Herefordshire, Mid Wales, North Wales, Shropshire and Staffordshire. Typically a Burns Night Piper will:-
Play whilst guests arrive
Lead the haggis to the top table
Lead the haggis out of the room
Play a medley of tunes whilst the starters and/or mains are being served

Add that special touch to your evening by having Andy pipe your guests into the function room and provide top class Scottish piping to create the perfect atmosphere.
Piping in the Bells for New Year
This will be celebrated by the playing of the traditional tune of Auld Lang Syne often followed Flower of Scotland, Caledonia and Scotland the Brave.
You can also request a piper to play at the beginning of the evening for arrival of guests or an earlier set if you have other entertainment booked for the midnight spot.
