As young lad I was enthralled with Scotland on my many holidays to Penicuick to see my lovely Aunty Phid and Uncle Jock and family . Here I am sat on a Cannon in 1988 at Edinburgh Castle .and looking forward to that evening and seeing the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. I'd probably been playing about 18 months at this point, as a young boy piper in a band .
